JDP Scholars

Each year the Jayda Dionne Scholarship Fund selects and honors an incoming freshman or current college student with a one-year scholarship. We are pleased to recognize our recipients who have demonstrated hard work, willingness to help others and determination against tremendous odds.

Gabriella Rodriguez

2017-2018 Recipient

Ms. Gabriella Rodriguez will be a freshman at Elms College in the fall of 2017. She’s an extraordinary student (with a 4.2 high school GPA) who in the midst of challenges remains true to her character. Ms. Rodriguez has a big, warm smile, has volunteered with Greyhouse, Rays of Hope, and Relay for Life, and serves at her church on Wednesday evenings. She also finds joy in helping others.
