The 2015-16 JDP Scholarship Fund recipient!
Erica Denival, FAMU
The Jayda Dionne Parker Scholarship Fund is very pleased to announce the selection of its 2015-2016 scholarship recipient, Ms. Erica Denival, an honors student who will be a freshman at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University this fall. Ms. Denival, at the top of her high school class, served in the volunteer program at her local hospital for three consecutive years where she actively participated in a very busy workflow while overcoming "heavy burdens" in her life. Described by her honors biology teacher as "a student of high integrity, kind, understanding and possessing a maturity that is rare to find in a high school student," the Jayda Dionne Parker Board of Directors is humbled to present Ms. Denival as its 2015-16 finalist. The Board also acknowledges with great appreciation the numerous outstanding applicants who submitted highly competitive applications. We wish each one of them well.
