JDP Scholars

Each year the Jayda Dionne Scholarship Fund selects and honors an incoming freshman or current college student with a one-year scholarship. We are pleased to recognize our recipients who have demonstrated hard work, willingness to help others and determination against tremendous odds.

Alexandria Lichtl

2020-2021 Recipient

Ms. Lichtl graduated summa cum laude from Duke University and is currently a freshman at New York University School of Medicine. One of her goals for her medical education is to perform research focused on creating and supporting programs for children with illness. Facing and overcoming adversity at a very young age, Ms. Lichtl resolved to answer cruelty with kindness and has dedicated herself to making a difference in human lives by pursuing her dream to study medicine.
